Dearest fellow SwissCham Members,
You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (31st AGM) of the SwissCham on the 21st May 2020 at 6pm.
All SwissCham Ordinary Members (Tier 1 or Tier 2) are able to vote at the AGM, while Associate Members and Young Professional Members of the SwissCham Singapore are not able to vote. Each SwissCham Singapore Ordinary Member has 1 vote. Members who are unsure about their membership level, can find the information in the annual invoice.
Due to COVID-19 and the Singapore Government’s latest policies, this AGM is held online. SwissCham Members can already subscribe via this webpage.
Since a physical meeting is not possible due to COVID-19, we propose to proceed online as suggested also by the Registry of Societies. We hereby seek the consent to the same from our Ordinary Members. Please send an email to email@example.com if you agree for the AGM to be held as an online meeting.
SwissCham members can already confirm their participation via this website page. The Agenda will be as follows:

2) Chairman report
3) Auditor’s report on finances / budget
4) Election of Auditors
5) Election of Board
6) Any other matter
With regards to point 5 of the Agenda, please note that only SwissCham Ordinary Members can stand for election and only Ordinary Members can nominate board members. Nominations for the election to the Board shall be proposed and seconded by Ordinary Members in writing to the SwissCham board no later than twenty-one (21) days before the Annual General Meeting, which means that nominations must be made latest by 1 May 2020.
