 DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AWARD |
|
The Covid-19 pandemic forced changes around the globe, as governments issued immediate restrictions such as limiting gatherings of people, encouraging employees to work from home and restricting physical business meetings. To adapt to this unprecedented crisis, digital transformation has become a tremendous priority for companies to continue running their operations.
With the second edition of the Digital Transformation Award, the SwissCham wants to offer a platform to all organisations in Singapore and the ASEAN region to showcase their digitalisation efforts. The award will recognise achievements in entrepreneurship and digital transformation that are closely linked to Swiss values and success factors (e.g. innovation, risk-taking culture). The aim of the award is to present best-in-class digital transformation initiatives, such as creating new ways of operating and growing businesses through cloud, mobile, big data/AI, blockchain or the usage of other enabling technologies.
Why should you Apply and Engage?
A set of prizes will be determined in cooperation with partners and sponsors to reward outstanding achievements. Three dedicated pitching events will also be held where selected participants will be able to present their digital transformation efforts in front of a highly distinguished jury as well as their peers and selected guests.
Applicants & sponsors will benefit from increased publicity and credibility as well as strengthen their digitalisation brand in ASEAN towards customers, suppliers and governmental bodies (EDB, ESG, SGInnovate, etc.). In addition, the award process will facilitate best practice exchange (e.g. newsletters and webinars) and give access to unique expertise and a network of experts in the field of digitalisation. WHAT ARE THE ASSESSMENT CRITERIA? |
We understand that digital transformation is a journey involving a complex ecosystem of capabilities and strategies that can be defined from different angles. In collaboration with Deloitte, we have come up with the following assessment criteria, which will also be used as a reference guide by our jury. Customer Providing an experience where customers view the organisation as their digital partner using their preferred channels of interaction to control their connected future on- and offline. Strategy Focuses on how the business transforms or operates to increase its competitive advantage through digital initiatives; digitalisation is embedded within the overall business strategy. Technology Underpins the success of digital strategy by helping to create, process, store, secure and exchange data to meet the needs of customers at low cost and low overheads. Operations Executing and evolving processes and tasks by utilising digital technologies to drive strategic management and enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. Organisation & Culture Defining and developing an organisational culture with governance and talent processes to support progress along the digital maturity curve, and the flexibility to achieve growth and innovation objectives.
