Events and Marketing Executive (temporary position)

The “Events and Marketing Executive” is responsible for supporting the Engagement Manager with events management, developing content of SwissCham website and social media platforms, administrative tasks and other projects related to the SwissCham Singapore.

Responsibilities

a) Event Management 

▪ Contribute to the planning and execution of events: negotiation with suppliers, design of the invitations, promotion of the events, follow-up on registrations, attendance and assistance during the event

b) Marketing 
▪ Content creation for social media channels 
▪ Managing Swisscham.sg website, updating information on upcoming events, news and announcements related to the community ▪ Contribute to the monthly e-newsletter (design and content) 
▪ Membership, Partnership & Sponsorship Management

c) Other Task 
▪ Support in bookkeeping and payments 
▪ Taking minutes at Board Meetings 
▪ Other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements 

● Very good writing and visual communication/design skills 

● Flexibility, outgoing, pro-active attitude and ability to work in a multicultural environment 

● Ability to work in a small team, multitasking, good organizational skills and accuracy at work 

● Good computer skills, advanced IT skills for websites, newsletters and data management are a strong asset 

● Affinity with the Swiss Community in Singapore 

● Excellent English language skills, French or German language skills are a plus
