AGM 2025 – Celebrating Progress, Building What’s Next

On 14 May, we gathered for our 37th Annual General Meeting, a moment to reflect on the past year and set the tone for the months ahead in 2026.

 

 

Opening Remarks – Edgar Doerig, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim at the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore, highlighted the strong relationship between the Embassy and the Chamber, reflecting the importance of collaboration in today’s economic landscape.

President’s Report 2025 – Our President, Julie Raneda, reflected on key milestones, growth, and ongoing efforts to strengthen the SwissCham Singapore community, with a continued focus on better serving our members.

Budget 2026 – Vice President Jean-Marie Lagier shared an overview of our financial outlook, with a focus on sustainability, cost management, and long-term stability.

Board Election – A new Board was elected to guide SwissCham’s strategic direction, with members’ interests at the core. Congratulations to our Board Members: Alain Esseiva, Chris Neff, Gilles Burgat, Jean-Marie Lagier, Julie Raneda, Levenza Toh, Mario Jacober, Michel Huguenin, Mirsad Cekic, Rafael Weber, Raphael Walker, and Ying Ying Yeoh.

Julie also extended her sincere thanks to our outgoing Board Member, Birgitta von Dresky, for 13 years of dedication and meaningful contributions to SwissCham.

Following the formal session, guests enjoyed a Swiss dinner by our valued member Coucou, offering a relaxed setting to reconnect and welcome new faces. Thank you to EHL and WineCircle for their support, and to BE WTR for keeping everyone refreshed throughout the evening.
