Past event | Singapore’s Immigration Landscape Outlook for 2025
On 4 March 2025, we successfully held the event "Singapore’s Immigration Landscape Outlook for 2025."
The event featured expert speakers from the Ministry of Manpower and Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, who provided insights into Singapore’s evolving Foreign Workforce Policies and discussed the impact of the Complementarity Assessment Framework (COMPASS) on Employment Pass applications.
The presentations were followed by a highly engaging Q&A session, offering our members a rare opportunity to give direct feedback to a representative from the Ministry of Manpower.
A big thank you to our speakers:
- Hong Quan Lock, Deputy Director, Foreign Workforce Policy Department, Ministry of Manpower
- Céline Breitenmoser, Attorney-at-Law, Luther LLP
- Dr. Maximilian Kressner, Attorney-at-Law, Luther LLP
This event was co-organized by SwissCham Singapore’s People & Skills Subcommittee and BLCC Singapore, and proudly supported by Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
Participants from both SwissCham and Belgium Chamber gained valuable insights into Singapore’s immigration policies, received practical tips from experts to facilitate employee onboarding, and enjoyed networking with peers facing similar challenges. All of this took place in the beautiful setting of The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, one of our valued members.
