Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, gene editing, 3-D printing and quantum computing have the potential to transform the way we live. Thanks to the combined efforts of government, the private sector and research institutes, Singapore has become a center of excellence for science and technology in Asia. Many Swiss companies have established regional research and development hubs here. The SwissCham Science & Technology Sub-Committee aims to create opportunities for Swiss and non-Swiss companies to learn from experts, exchange ideas and collaborate on innovation and technology initiatives. We promote Swiss values, quality, technological leadership and innovation.

We want to provide a platform for SwissCham members to:

• Learn about emerging and “cutting edge” technologies
• Interact with experts in their respective fields
• Exchange insights and best practices with companies or research institutes that are actively working with these technologies
• Assess whether the technology may be of interest to their own industry and firm

We will hold quarterly events with:

• Presentations by experts
• A moderated panel discussion and Q&A session with the audience
• Informal networking
