JOB DESCRIPTION
Events and Management Assistant
As Events and Social Media Assistant, you will support SwissCham’s Executive Director and SwissCham’s Event and Marketing Manager in the management of SwissCham’s Social Media Channels as well as support the delivery of high quality events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Management
- Plan exciting events that leave a lasting impression, from negotiating with suppliers to designing invitations and promoting events.
- Manage event registrations.
- Liaise with speakers and participants.
- Design visuals, flyers, invitations and EDMs for the promotion of events.
- Ensure seamless event logistics by managing registrations, attendance, and providing on-site support during our events
Website and Social Media support
- Communicate/ perform event updates on SwissCham Glue Up website.
- Create content, and share relevant information with SwissCham members via the monthly newsletter - Daily/ Weekly email marketing.
- Social media posts and creative writing.
- CRM and database management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
- Basic design skills using tools like Canva.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interest in and knowledge of Swiss business and culture is preferred.
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
